Discount pricing on product pages

Hello,

Does anyone have a clean way of calculating the discounted product price
(% or fixed amount off) on the product page? Am I missing something simple?

Have a List / Channel price and have a discout set at Product /
Category Level . If the product level discount is set it will take
tat.. and if not it should take category level discount.. Make susre
that u set atleast 0 % disc if there is not discount.. Am not sure if
i answered your query ..
