Commerce has a EJB defined as ExtensionsJDBCHelperBean. It's not needed since it's in the core JAR of commerce. So you can take the defenition out of the EJB extendions jar.

The JDBCHelperBean is included due to the fact that you cannot deploy this
type of project without at least one EJB. As Tim mentioned this is more of
a placeholder than anything, but you cannot remove it unless you are going
to add at least one of your own custom EJBs
