My client is seeking a driven and talented WebSphere Commerce consultant to join their team. This position would provide consulting services for both onsite and offsite projects. The ideal person would possess strong technical and communication skills with experience in the following areas: WebSphere Commerce, Java (JSP & Servlets), WSAD, XML, HTML, and JavaScript. Qualified candidates MUST have recent hands-on experience with installing, configuring and developing with WebSphere Commerce.

Required Skills :
-WebSphere Commerce: 1 year
-Java/J2EE development: 3 years
-WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD), Rational Application Developer (RAD), or Eclipse: 3 years
-HTML and JavaScript: 4+ years
-XML: 2 years
-Prior consulting experience
-Customer service focused and "do what it takes" attitude
-Interest in learning and applying new technologies
-Willingness to participate in after-hours projects to gain experience in new technologies.
-Ability to work with minimal direction
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Some travel will be required for this position

Desired Skills :
-Experience with WebSphere Commerce 6.0
-WebSphere or other portal-related development
-Struts
-Training/Mentoring experience
-Certifications: Sun Java Programmer, Sun Java Developer, Sun Web Component Developer for J2EE technologies, any IBM WebSphere related certifications

A couple of observations about your post.

Nice use of "entity definitions"

Since WC 6.0 has not been out for a year, how would you get a consultant
with 1 year of WC6 experience.

"do what it takes", I like that so the person can lie/cheat/steal as long
as they get the job done. Or does this mean that the person will be on
salary, but expected to work 90 hours a week to "do what it takes"
