ORMODER counter for new orders

We are on 5.6.1. I need to change the number for the default Commerce generated ORMORDER column (ORDERS table). Looks like it reads it from a counter and increments by 1 for the newly submitted order.

Can any one advise me how to change this counter? Which table would have this counter?

I don't think ORDERS.ormorder gets incremented by default in WCS. Anyways, you should be able to find the counter in KEYS table.
