Hi,

I think there should be no any project assign with WebSphere server. Go to server and right click on that. Add and Remove projects option.

I had this WebGroup Not Found problem. What I did was, to check the xml files, in the webgroup as in the EAR project. Because not every change takes effect. After that I checked on properties, which was the context Root of the project, here I had to update the information because my changes didn´t take any effect.
After all this it only worked when I stopped the server, remove the project and added the project again to the server.
