Here is the scenario:
We are on WCS 5.6.1. We have stores deployed, while we were using local database, we were able to successfully access the stores thro Accelerator using an user's credentials with "site administrator" role.
We have set the database to a remote database and ran the commerce instance. After switching back to the local database, we are not able to access the stores thro Accelerator using the same credentials. We get "You do not have access to stores" error.
The main difference between our local and remote databases is: two different merchant keys were used to encrypt data.
We have also tried to encrypt the data in local database using a new Merchant Key, there was no difference.
Any one has experienced the above? Please share your opinions.
-thanks.
