WC V6 Developer - Enterprise Edition.

How do we publish a sample Extended site store(the hub, catalog and storefront)? According to the infocenter, publishing ExtendedSites.sar would still require the storefront assets to be deployed. So shoud we publish ExtendedSites.sar and then publish B2BDirectStorefrontAssetStore.sar?

or

should we publish ExtendedSitesHub.sar(not ExtendedSites.sar), ExtendedSitesCatalogAssetStore.sar and B2BDirectStorefronAssetStore.sar in that order to get a fully functional store?

or is it to be done differently.

Please follow this sequence to setup the Extended Sites Hub.

Launch the CommerceAdminConsole, then Select Site, Go to StoreArchives, Select-->Publish. In the Store Archives drop down, select ExtendedSites.sar and then publish the sar file.

Once the above sar files is published successfully, Go to StoreArchives, Select -->Publish. In the Store Archives drop down, select ExtendedSitesHub.sar and then publish the sar file.

When this publish is successful, you will be able to launch the Extended Sites Hub and proceed to host the store of your need.

Will publishing ExtendedSites.sar and ExtendedSitesHub.sar in that order have a sample catalog and store front published? Or did you mean that we need to then go to the admin pages of the hub and follow the "Create Store" link to create a sample?

What causes some confusion is that the Infocenter says that ExtendedSites.sar will have the hub and catalog but not the storefront. And the comments for ExtendedSitesHub.sar says that its got the hub(so no assets and or storefront i take it)

Yes once you have the Store published then you need to launch the Extended Sites Hub, then Register an Organization for the HUB along with an ADMIN. Then you need to approve the ADMIN from the OrgAdminConsole of Commerce. Once the ADMIN is approved, you log into the HUB using that ADMIN. Create a TestStore, either B2B or B2C using the sample catalog provided.
